This Registered, proven ram was utilized in a customer's flock that we manage the genetics of last year. His lambs were structurally correct and grew and finished nicely in their system. His dam comes from a very prolific line, and his sire has excellent milking genetics. This ram is more of a maternal sire, growth numbers aren't quite as high. However, his lambs seemed to grow quite well and he grew quite well as a lamb himself. He has a nice frame and would work well for the producer trying to add a nice frame and maternal characteristics to their ewes. We sold two of his ewe lambs to another flock we work with and also sold a son down to Nevada, where he has been maturing nicely. He has some solid maternal lines in his pedigree and will continue to make a nice sire. He is very mellow, you can go in the pen even when he is with ewes, without any problem. As always, we do still suggest caution however as he is a pretty big ram and livestock in general can be unpredictable at times.
