Hello Everyone!
We are super excited to be hosting a training on Integrated Parasite Management with Dave Scott from the National Center for Appropriate Technology out of Montana. Dave has a tremendous wealth of knowledge and experience from both his personal farm and his work at NCAT. The training will train attendees how to utilize FAMACHA scoring, and then will certify them in doing is so they can obtain the patented card. This is a unique opportunity here in Idaho. A free lunch will be provided by the Idaho Wool Growers Association as well. While this is designed for Extension Educators, Veterinarians, 4-H and FFA leaders and advisors, and ag teachers, it is also open to individual producers as well, who will gain a wealth of helpful knowledge. Sign up now as space is limited! February 22nd is the date, so mark it on your calendar, register, and prepare to learn! This will really help producers who graze any irrigated pasture with their sheep. Further information can be obtained from the flyer below.
